User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.23 (20090812) 1) receive email with .ics attachment 2 [review]) drag-n-drop attachment from attachments pane to events pane 3) finish adding event -) hourglass cursor now present in all t-bird panes EXCEPT message-content-pane -) toolbar STOP icon is inactive -) tbird otherwise continues to function as normal Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) receive email with .ics attachment 2 [review]) drag-n-drop attachment from attachments pane to events pane 3) finish adding event Actual Results: -) hourglass cursor now present in all t-bird panes EXCEPT message-content-pane -) toolbar STOP icon is inactive -) tbird otherwise continues to function as normal Expected Results: not having the hourglass cursor persist... looking at the event you just added (i.e. double clicking on it in events-pane) clears the hourglass cursor.

Does this still happen with the latest 1.0b2pre nightlies? Please enable calendar.debug.log and calendar.debug.log.verbose in the advanced config editor (Options > Advanced > General > Config Editor) and check your error console for messages.
