530483 - Tool Bar "Search" input field value is not taken when press Enter Key or Search Button

When I type some text inside the Toolbar "Search" input field and execute the search, the "Key words" I typed is not taken for the search, & Firefox just loads the Search Engine Home Page with an Empty Search Input Field. Then I have to type the key words again in the input field.
It's just like typing the url of any search engine home page. Just loads the home page of the search engine. But it never identify the keywords I typed in the toolbar search input field for a search.(Sometimes it works.but for most of the times, it gives the bad result).
I'm someone who loves Firefox and it's add-ons and who believes that 'Firefox' should be the future universal Application UI.So I would be so much thankful, if you could kindly consider this bug and rectify this for us.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.type keywords in toolbar search input field
2.press 'Search' button or hit Enter key.
3.see searched links list as the result of the search.
Actual Results:  
Search Engine home page.

Expected Results:  
List of related links as 'search results'

Does this happen with all search engines, or just 1 (if 1, which 1)? Does this issue still occur in safe mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

Entering keywords for searches, even for installed search engines, only work from within the location bar. When you run a search in the search bar the selected search engine will be used.

This makes this bug invalid.
