The second bullet of the releasenotes FAQ, going back to Firefox 3.0 times, reads:

>Why haven’t you responded to the mail I sent you?
>
>Use the newsgroup. The Firefox team reads it regularly, and your email may have
>gotten lost.

This is basically a lie, and we suspect results in users with support problems ending up in dev-apps-firefox.

We should remove this bullet entirely, in all languages, for all releasenote pages from Firefox 3.0 forward. There are links in the sidebar for support which are more prominent.
Steven, can you take this one? I can push the files live when they're ready.

Mike, what's the approximate level of priority on this? Do we need to make this change before any particular release?

This is a slow, chronic pain, not a heart attack. The sooner the better, but not tied to a specific release.
Done in trunk in r56926. Merged to stage in r56927.

Thanks, Steven.

John: not a super high priority, though we should make sure not to copy that bullet over when we make the Firefox 3.6 release notes.

Awesome, thanks Steven. I just pushed these live through Kubla. QA, could I get a double check that everything worked?

Duly noted...Steven and I will be on the lookout for this. Mike, you're still on point for actually writing the release notes, yes? Just want to confirm that our basic process is still the same here.
European release notes updated and pushed to production in r57867
This was not done for 3.0.15 en-US, it means that it will appear in 3.0.16 release notes.

This line has now been removed from 3.0.15 and 3.0.16 for en-US (r57877) and 3.0.15 has been merged to stage (r57878).
