Typing very slow to appear when entered and sometimes mouse clicks and keystoke combinations are missed - e.g. highlighting a block of text and using ctrl+v, ctrl+x, etc.  This happens both in web forms and in the address or search windows.  Also response time of new tabs opened from a link or a blank tab which then has an address entered is slow to glacial.

Common factors:  Seems to happen more the longer the box has been up, or the more tabs that are opened.  

Important clue:  I opened several blank tabs sequentially accidentally and then closed them sequentially and the issue disappeared.

Example:  This box was up since 1:41 AM PST and I was opening and closing tabs, typing into forms, etc. until about 4:30 AM when I went to bed.  It got slower but was liveable over that time.  I left the computer running (no standby, no hibernation) with about 10 tabs open.  When I woke up @ 10:30 and started surfing again, the browser was almost unusable.  I closed a few tabs I didn't need any more, and then opened the 6 to 10 blank tabs and closed them sequentially and now the browser is working properly.

Have not noticed slow typing response with v3.6 in normal mode.

Have noticed slow tab response - it appears that there is a memory leak as the more tabs are open, the slower the response.  I routinely have 5 - 15 tabs open and occaissionally as many as 25 - 30.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.10 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
