I do not agree that there are no documents at all on the homepage. For example we list the developer guide, we also mention the need for documentation on the "help us" page and list the wiki on the links page.

However, it is true that we need more and better documentation. I would appreciate it very much if someone would step up and lead this effort.

It would make sense to divide such an effort into different bugs, where each bug has a specific piece of documentation in focus.

Therefore I'm marking this bug as INVALID. Please open up new bugs for the things I outlined above, if you're willing to take on a leading role here.
