Build Identifier:

Thunderbird was reporting very stange errors about communicating with the IMAP server, so I debugged it:
Thunderbird says:
2 STARTTLS
Server reponds
2 BAD Unrecognized command

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Probably Enable TLS when the server can't do it

Actual Results:
You cannot access your mail, a very strange error message is reported
like:
The current command was not successful. The Mail Server said "Unrecognized comand"
.

Expected Results:
A better error message, like "The STARTLS command was not successful..."

Does it also fail with a current version, or 60 from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel/

Sorry, I cannot check as all my servers do support STARTTLS at the moment.
