Every time I go to a web page Firefox is initially unable to find server and has to reload 3-4 times. I go to find the same webpages on IE, and it loads just fine.

Reproducible: Always
What is the exact error message ?
Does it work if you open a bookmark or if you type it manually and only links on oages are causing this ?
In that case try :
Please open about:config, confirm the warning, right click on the list and
select NEW, Boolean, for preference name use "network.dns.disablePrefetch"
(without the "") and the Value is "true".
=> incomplete due to no response. However, it is preferable to have feedback.
