Can you try a redownload and reinstall if you didn't try already ? Do you have some anti-virus installed ? Is this after a migration from Thunderbird 2.x ?
(In reply to comment #1) > Can you try a redownload and reinstall if you didn't try already ? > > Do you have some anti-virus installed ? > > Is this after a migration from Thunderbird 2.x ? Spent some additional time last night, searching for the 3.0.1 version, as I was having serious stability issues all along with the TB 3.0 Release. (260,000+ IMAP messages for this user's configuration on a gmail server.) Found and installed 3.0.1, which resolved the immediate issue. Still working on test & stability. Yes, AV installed is ESET AV, current as of yesterday. Not migrated from TB2.x Originally this was a new install of TB3 on a new install of Windows 7, but the last RC before official final release. Just as a note, the global indexer or Windows Search are NOT turned on for this profile. System becomes too un-responsive, things timeout and crash with that many messages at this time. Will try turning back on when I can be more comfortable with message integrity. (User also has a couple small POP accounts.)
