Any embedded flash videos, such as YouTube, will crash the operating system if
put in full screen. Videos can be watched with no problems in normal size, but
if placed in full screen, videos will cause the system to freeze indefinitely,until the system is manually hard shut down.The video will play for at least 30 seconds before crashing but may go up to 10 minutes.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Play an embedded video
2. Click on full screen button
3. Watch video for a few seconds/minutes

Actual Results:  
System Crash

Expected Results:  
Played the video in full screen mode.


The OS is Windows 7 x86_x64 ultimate edition.
RAM is 2,00 GB DDR2-SO-DIMM @667Mhz.
CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 @2,40 Ghz.
GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256 MB dedicated video memory and total avalaible video memory 1023 MB

Installed different video driver twice,problem not solved.

This is freezing the os though? I know firefox can't do that, and I don't think flash can either. What fireall, anti-virus do you have?

I am using Avast!4.8 home edition-free antivirus.as with firewall, i only use the windows firewall.could it be a hardaware problem,for example my modem-router?

Its possible for the Graphics Hardware to freeze the system though.  In full screen we will often render through hardware.  You can check this by doing the following

1) Right click and choose setting on some flash content
2) Go to the first tab
3) Uncheck enable hardware acceleration.

If it fixes it then try to update your video drivers.  That is usually the most likely cause.

This Happens on my computer too.

Win Vista Home Premium SP1

Watching youtube viseos in fullscreen crashes my computer after a variable amount of time.

Does not happen in Chrome

Does it crash your computer or firefox? Do you have the most updated version of flash, firefox, your video drivers and windows? (update to service pack two an any other updates)
