(In reply to comment #0) > Thunderbird 3.0.1 Mark, Philippe are you guys seeing this ? (I'm not but I'm on 10.5) > I don't know if it is related, but Thunderbird has been crashing a lot too, or > hanging when I quit it. I don't think so. Can you read http://kb.mozillazine.org/Breakpad and use crash-stats.mozilla.com to make sure your crashes are logged in our system ? For the hangs - can you look at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Testing:Shutdown_Hang and see if something you are having is matching our current bugs ?

Some crashes have been sent, some haven't been.

I was about to say that hadn't happened in a while until I started copying messages over to my IMAP archive: My mail is read over IMAP from dreamhost, and I archive it locally here on my Linux server using IMAP. So I copy message from one to the other using T-Bird. And it is when I added that IMAP account to T-Bird that it started (mis-)behaving FWIW, the local server is a Debian Lenny and courier-imap-ssl 4.4.0-2

I've not seen this, but there again I'm on 10.5. Hubert - what we really need to start looking at this is the crash ids. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Breakpad gives information as to how.

Running the Thunderbird 7 from the beta channel. And I haven't seen that happen in a while.
