54137 - Unable to submit attachment from a directory with a long name?

I wasn't able to submit the file
C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\first checkboxes should not work\s.html
at a text/html attachment to bug 54136 with IE or Mozilla, but I was able to 
submit it using Netscape 4.75.  

Later, I played with the same attachment on bug 31322 (a "test bug") using just 
IE, and decided that bugzilla didn't like the fact that the directory name was 
long.

not accepted:
C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\first checkboxes should not work\s.html
C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\first checkboxes should not work\longerfilename.html

accepted:
c:\windows\desktop\s.html


Error recieved using IE:
You must select a legal mime type. 'text/html -----------------------------
7d02448590 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="othertype" --------------------
---------7d024485' simply will not do.

Error recieved using Mozilla:
You must select which kind of file you have.

maybe it didn't like spaces in the name...  you try a short name with spaces in 
it?

I had a very similar problem with another file (a jpg) that wasn't at a 
convoluted path.  I wasn't able to submit it with any browser (bugzilla gave 
different error messages for each one), but I got it to work in IE by setting a 
proxy.

The default, "transparent" proxy, had been caused me other problems, such as 
not being able to stay logged into slashdot without using random urls 
(http://www.slashdot.org/?=uoy3xi4v).

Probably invalid, but I wonder why I was getting such strange error messages 
from bugzilla.

Invalid. This cannot be a Bugzilla bug. The user was sending an invalid MIME type.

clearing milestone for invalid/wontfix/worksforme/duplicate so they'll show up
as untriaged if they get reopened.
