User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Firefox has been crashing regularly with no reason or explanation, usually after being open for 5 or 10 minutes. It and Thunderbird both crash within fewer than 5 minutes of when I open the other. Since I frequently access websites, using Firefox, from links in emails, using Thunderbird, this is especially frustrating.

I always immediately install the latest updates for both programs.

The Mozilla Crash Reporter fails to report 95+% of the time and it won't let me finish this message. The multiple problems seem to have started when you abandoned a working Crash Report software for the new, non-working one.

I have run all diagnostics (including full scans by my completely up-to-antivirus program several times) but can find nothing wrong on my end.

I don't want to abandon Firefox for Apple Safari or Google Chrome and I don't know any other email client that I would be able to use like I do Thunderbird.

If this goes through would somebody please do something!!!!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox
2. Use Firefox (what pages, how many tabs, makes no difference) for more than 10 to 20 minutes.

Actual Results:
crashes, refuses to report

Expected Results:
crashes, refuses to report

stay open
if it does crash, submit a crash report.

Suggestion: Drop the new Crash Report system and return to Talkback, which worked.
While Bugzilla is not intended for end-user support, are you by chance using the 10.1 beta of Flash Player ? It has an issue that is killing the crash-reporter.

The Crash Report is not giving me crash IDs
Yes, I get crashes in safe mode.

Yes, I'm using the Beta Flash Player. I had forgotten so or would not have reported the bug until reverting to a known-stable version of Flash Player, which I shall do before making any more comments.
The problem totally disappeared when I changed to Windows7 64 bit, probably Vista related.
Going to WFM then.
