At present, when someone adds a blog post to a project page, the post defaults to "unpublished." e.g. http://drumbeat.stage.mozilla.com/node/1574/edit The user has to click on the "publishing options" link at the bottom of the edit page and manually click on the "published" check box. This is not intuitive for most users. Please change default to "published"

Please ammend this bug to include ALL content types site-wide. (video, links, blog posts, etc.)

This is the mechanism for content moderation. Anyone can join a project and submit draft content, but only the project admin can publish that content. If we set the default to 'published', then any registered user will be able to post any content on any project. The down side is that project admin submitted content also has to go through the queue. The up side is that random people can't publish content. Please confirm the behavior you would like.

I'm a bit confused. Paul: are you saying you've made the modifications Matt requested in comment 1 but have now just seen Campbell's comment 2 suggesting that you shouldn't have made them? If so, can you change them back? Gerv

Sorry for the delay on this one. The behavior we want, if possible, is: * for Project Admins, the default for ALL content types should be "published". * for NON Project Admins, the default should be "unpublished." For the reasons outlined in Campbell's comment #2.
