User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; fi; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; fi; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6

In flash player, the mouse cursor jumps to the left every time the mouse button is released. The distance of the jump is exactly the same as the distance from the monitor's upper left corner to flash content's upper left corner. So moving the browser window in desktop changes the distance of the jump.

After the shift to the left, the mouse cursor returns immediately back to it's original position. This causes the cursor to "blink".

This bug exist only on Firefox 3.6 Mac OS. Previous versions, and the Windows version of the FF 3.6 works normally.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open http://www.sumopaint.com/app
2. just start drawing with the preselected brush tool
3. immediately you'll see the bug every time you release the mouse button
Actual Results:
The mouse cursor jumps around and loses stability

Expected Results:
The mouse cursor should move only when the user actually moves the mouse

I've tested this in http://www.sumopaint.com/app and in http://www.pixlr.com/editor. I am using the debugger version of flash player 10,0,42,34.

Related to/duplicate of Firefox bug 545687?
> Possibly both are dupes of bug 549194?

I assume you mean dups of bug 542068 :-)
I see this bug in Firefox 3.6.

I also see that it's disappeared in current 1.9.2-branch (aka FF
3.6.X) nightlies -- presumably fixed by Josh's patch for bug 518135.

But the patch for bug 518135 only fixes one of the problems I
described at bug 542068 comment #33 (problem #1). My patch for bug
542068 also fixes the other (problem #2).

So please test with today's 1.9.2-branch nightly, and also with my
tryserver builds from bug 542068 comment #39.

Let us know your results.

Unable to reproduce the problem. Although it takes some time for the paint to be drawn, the cursor does not bounce to the left.
