Asks for Master Password which has never been set on either of my computers. If I put in my Administrative Password, it will work go away. If I click on cancel it will go away. This drop down window is aggravating. Problem duplicates on both Tiger and SnowLeopard on two different computers.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch Thunderbird 3.0.2.
2.
3.

Expected Results:
Should not be popping up at all since I never set a Master Password.

Email password window should have been the only one to drop down since I have it set up that way.

Did you update from 2.x to 3.x ?
I think I have figured this out. Although, I never set a master password for the system, I did set a master password for my digital certificates. It's just asking for the password in advance in case I digitally sign and/or encrypt. It's the same window. I can click on cancel to get rid of the window or put the digital certificate password in.

I love the new TBird!
Yes master password is prompted at start for certs.
