Any tabs that are saved to be reopened when restarting the browser are lost if any update process occurs during restart.  This includes plugin updates even if they are declined.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open multiple tabs
2.download updates to browser or installed plugins
3.close FireFox checking the save tabs dialog 
4.Restart FireFox either accept or decline updates
Actual Results:  
Firefox will restart with either just default home page(s) or with pages opened by plugins updates.

Expected Results:  
I would like to have the tabs and pages I indicated to be reopened to be preserved and opened as well as the update pages for FireFox and plugins.

Do you also see this behavior when you go to preferences and set to always open the tabs from the last session? Can you also please check it with a fresh profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles

I will try the always open tabs next time I have an update and let you know the result.  I will then try the new profile and see what that does.  Should I update to 3.6 to try this or wait for a addon update?

Given that there is no security update yet for Firefox 3.6 you should test with 3.5.7. Do you have a set of add-ons which can be used to reproduce this problem?

I am currently on 3.5.8 and none of my add-ons have any updates available.  I will attempt to find something to update to check this.

You can install an older version of such an add-on. So you should be notified during the next update of Firefox.

This just repeated with the "show my windows and tabs from last time" option enabled when updating an add-on.  I will work on creating a new profile and attempting to recreate it in that condition as well.

I just updated to 3.5.9 and my tabs were saved properly on restart.  This is still with the "show my windows and tabs from last time" option enabled
