User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

When using the "Find" box at the bottom of the page, after typing 3 letters, the cursor jumps into the webpage before the word is completed. If after that I hit "Back" on my keyboard, it takes me out of the page and back to my search engine, not back to the Find box. I do NOT have "Search for text when I start typing" checked in the Options, so I have no clue why the cursor is jumping out. It's just been happening since the last update/build that I downloaded a few days ago... maybe with the one before that, too. I'm not sure.

The only way to finish typing the search word is to repeatedly bring the cursor back into the Find box by clicking on the box/word for every single new letter. Very very aggravating.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hit Ctrl f.
2. Start typing in the Find box.
3. Should jump into the webpage by the 3rd letter if that word is present.
Actual Results:
Cursor disappeared from Find box and appeared on the matching 3 letters on the webpage.

Expected Results:
The cursor should remain in the Find box where it should be so I can continue to type as much of the word as I feel is necessary. This was the way it worked all these years. I've been a loyal Netscape and Firefox user since 1988 and I've never seen this before.
Sorry, I figured out this was caused by the Fast Downloader add-on I got from your website. Perhaps it should be *them* fixing the problem. I've never had it react like that before.
So disabling the Fast Downloader extension returns the normal Firefox behavior for the find bar? If yes then please report this to the Fast Downloader extension developers.

Would you provide a link to the extension that is causing trouble. I don't see a Fast Downloader at https://addons.mozilla.org

Yes, it does make it return to normal function -- thank heaven!

Here's the url: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3590
It's actually called Fast Video Download. I downloaded it but I don't think I've ever used it successfully. Guess I should have uninstalled it long ago. For sure it never did *this* before! I'll report the problem to them. Thanks!
