Sometime, if I end TB its window disappeares but then the one (of my 4 kernels) runs at allmost 100%. Calling the Task-Manager it shows TB still running with cpu-ussage of 25% (which is 100% of one kernel). I watched this for 5 Min, no change, until I killed this process. Reproducible: Sometimes My TB has no add-ons installed yet.

Please try thunderbird safe mode and see if it still happens
