User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 (.NET CLR 2.0.50727) Build Identifier: My "unread e-mails" list has been increasing steadily - I have no unread e-mails, & all the filter folders etc. in my web mail are EMPTY. In other words, there are NO unread e-mails - none in any of my Thunderbird folders, OR in the web mail folders. How do I clear this? It is by this time saying 10! - Mary Terhune Reproducible: Didn't try

What version of Thunderbird are you using ? Ca you try to right click on the faulty folders and select properties -> rebuild index to see if that fixes it ?
Tbird 3.1 : Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100630 Lanikai/3.1 Seeing what look like the same thing since about a week ago. Local folders - Inbox indicates one unread but I can't find it. Nothing in the unread column, nothing in bold as an unread item. Right-click, compact did not change anything.

Do you still see this issue when using version 5 or 6 (due out a week)? - If you no longer see the problem, please set status to RESOLVED, and set resolution to WORKSFORME. - If you still see the problem, please provide updated details, and any additional steps needed to reproduce the problem.
