Details

Seen while running Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100413 Firefox/3.6.4 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729).

STR:
1. Load a flash, quicktime or silverlight site.
2. Crash the process

See https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_3.6.4/Test_Plan:OOPP_Testing#Windows_XP_.28marcia.29_spot_check for the details. Basically I am rarely seeing this notification bar - in fact during my testing this morning on the various flavors of Windows I have only seen it once.

Is it only generated on certain sites?
Summary: Crash plugin UI notification bar is not showing every time I crash → [OOPP] Crash plugin UI notification bar is not showing every time I crash
It should only appear if the plugin is too small to show the notification in-page.
Marcia, can you confirm comment #1? I think this can be marked INVALID if so.
--> INVALID as per comment 1, Marcia, please re-open if you saw this on a page with a large (over 200px squared) plugin container.
