Some incoming email turns into html code and can't be read.The email address sometimes changes to another address from an email received at a similar time.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the incomoing email

Actual Results:  
Some eamails turn into html code

Expected Results:  
The eamil should have displayed in a readable format

Hum the header parts are missing - strange : from that two things could be happening :

1) something is going wrong on the server

2) The emails get's corrupted when we deal with it :
  i)   Are you suing POP or imap ?
  ii)  What happens if you right click on the folder -> Properties -> Rebuild index ?
  iii) How large is your folder on disk , locate your profile http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Profiles and inside you'll find a copy of your folders, click on one that has the issue and choose property and repport it's size here.

If that's unclear leave a comment here and we'll clarify ;-)
Rebuild index solved the problem, thank you very much indeed.

do you still see this problem when using a current version of thunderbird? 

And if you do not, please close bug report by changing resolution to worksforme
