Add-on type (pane) should persist searching and clearing the search box, currently in the left the Search pane is still selected and all add-ons are shown.

Can you please be a bit more specific? What do you expect to see? Clearing a search will show all installed add-ons. It's still a search we are performing and we can't select another pane because that will limit the results to only that type of add-on.

If I have the extensions pane selected, perform a search and clear the search, then the extensions pane should be selected and shown.
