Hi,

event onclcik="..."

No run correctly.

I test in OPERA=Ok
I test in SAFARI=Ok
I test in IE=Ok

But FF=Fail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to http://mejoramos.com/bugs/b01.php
2.Focus in textbox
3.Sorpraise!
Actual Results:
My software no run...

:'(

Greath browser Firefox !!
I'm not sure what this is supposed to do. I ran it in Google Chrome as well as Firefox and either one of them executed the program.

to be quite honest, I don't like what this site is attempting to achieve, this just smacks of exploit.
Correct!!!

Google Chrome also run correctly!!
sorry, I need to correct my first post, neither google chrome nor mozilla firefox ran the program I selected
from what I can tell, there is no code on the page to execute the program. I would expect javascript or something, but nothing, just <form id="FORMA"><textarea name="kja" onfocus="document.forms.FORMA.prueba.click();"></textarea><input type="file" name="prueba" /></form>
Correct!.

FF no run this line:

[document.forms.FORMA.prueba.click();]

But others Browsers YES!
I'm not sure I understand what is going on, or I'm getting completely different results from what you are reporting. here is a screenshot of what I get in firefox 3.6.3 internet explorer 8.0.6991.18904, and Chrome 4.1.249.1064. does this match with what you get?
Please open newly the file with Chrome and FF.

Now I add a comment.
Severity: critical → normal
You are trying to simulate a click on a file input, correct? FF does not allow this (for security reasons?). http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=641798

This looks to be a duplicate of bug 36619.
Hi Tim.

Yes, just I need emuled action "OnCLICK" in a button FILE.

In Safari=Ok
In Chrome=Ok
In IE=Ok

I need show the dialog to upload a file.

NOTE: I no need upload the file "OnClick"

Only show the dialog TO UPLOAD

Just identic action showed by SAFARI.

In others words:

I need upload file when user do CLICK in LINK, no in BUTTON

Thanks
