From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.75 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.17 i686)
BuildID: 2000101015

When attempting to install the java plugin, mozilla segfaults. Curiously, this
occurs before the plugin download normally, but with strace, it occurs after the
download.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Visit any Java site, follow plugin install steps as prompted

Actual Results: mozilla segfault

Expected Results: installed plugin

Here's the tail of the strace:

I can confirm almost the same result with M18, except for that mozilla won't
segfault. the JavaScript error occurs tough, and also in JavaScript Console.

Latest build (Build ID: 2000101521) gives different result:

JavaScript error:
line 33: missing } in compund statement

This appears to be a different bug however, as it's generally triggered by
entering data in this box.
this is bug 55537
