Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100423 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

After any extension's update (both before launching and after restarting Firefox) all custom icons and input fields in the main/menu toolbar dissapear, except for the menu entry. This affects only one session after the upgrade, another Firefox's restart reverts every affected setting to its expected state.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Move navigation toolbar's fields into the menu toolbar.
2. Disable navigation toolbar.
3. Upgrade any extension.
4. Restart Firefox for changes to take effect.
Actual Results:
After Firefox starts, the menu toolbar is blank, except for the menu entry.

Expected Results:
Customized icons and fields should be as they were before the restart and after the next restart.

I have Tiny Menu installed with a custom icon for the menu entry. The navigation toolbar is turned off, and all icons and fields from it are moved upwards to the menu toolbar right of the Tiny Menu entry.

if it is the same problem that I am having in 3.7a5pre then it is not a firefox bug but a bug in "Ubuntu Firefox modifications", disable that add-on and everything should work.

if so, you should think about filing a bug at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubufox
