I accessed my Google Calendars in Lighnting via CALDAV.
Now in Lighning some calendar items have the category "http://schemas.google.com/g/event/2005#event". And this category cannot be removed at all (= Ligthning category cannot be set to NONE).

However I cannot find any rule why this only happens to some of my calendar items. So it's really confusing.

Reproducible: Always
Version: unspecified → Lightning 1.0b1
OS: Windows 7 → All
Hardware: x86 → All
Summary: Google Calendar / CALDAV: In Lighning some calendar items show category "http://schemas.google.com/g/event/2005#event" → Google Calendar / CalDAV: In Lightning some calendar items show category "http://schemas.google.com/g/event/2005#event"
I believe this comes from an old version of the Provider for Google Calendar. What happens when you set the category to none? Could you enable calendar.debug.log and calendar.debug.log.verbose in the advanced config editor (Options > Advanced > General > Config Editor) and show us some logs about what is happening when you do this?
