(Keywords: regression)

0: Install Macromedia/Adobe Authorware plug-in (only available as PPC)
1: Download Firefox 3.6.* (tried several release versions and beta)
2: Get Info -> Open using Rosetta
3: Launch Firefox, open about:plugins

Authorware does not work in 3.6.*
Authorware works Firefox 3.5.* and Firefox 3.0.*
Does Authorware depend on the old resource thing, like Shockwave < 11 did (i.e., as described in Camino bug 184449 comment 10)?

Firefox 3.6 no longer has the Cocoa widget resource file, which, I assume, satisfied the "resource file" requirement for Firefox, if this is related to the old resource thing.

Charles/Michelle: Anyone from the Authorware team that can comment on this bug?
I have forwarded this along.
Summary: Mac Firefox 3.6 Rosetta mode does not support Authorware plug-in → Mac Firefox 3.6 & 4.* Rosetta mode does not support Authorware plug-in
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Regression continues in 4.* and 5.*
Summary: Mac Firefox 3.6 & 4.* Rosetta mode does not support Authorware plug-in → Mac Firefox 3.6 & above Rosetta mode does not support Authorware plug-in
Rosetta mode no longer exists in OS X 10.7 and higher, so this bug is moot for newer Macs.
Mac PPC no longer relevant.
