When hitting Ctrl+J to switch from code editing to CLI, the CLI is given focus only for a split second, then the code editor gets focus back. If I press and hold Ctrl+J , it will cause the CLI pane to flicker. This happens every time, and I am not able to type in the CLI without clicking it. As well, most other KB shortcuts seem to follow the same pattern of behaviour. The only ones that work are the ones that don't require changing of focus.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Bespin, and login.
2.Give code editor focus
3.Hit Ctrl+J to switch focus to CLI
Actual Results:
Focus switches very briefly. Then is returned to code view before anything can be typed.

Expected Results:
Focus should have been given completely to the CLI, and not returned to the code editor until hitting Esc.

This happens whether I am in insert mode or not on the code editor.
I think I fixed this in changeset d76e88b5f855.

@Philip: Could you specify the Bespin version you used when noticing this bug?
I'm not certain. Whichever version was live on bespin.mozillalabs.com yesterday. (Sunday, 6/20/2010)
That was version 0.7.3. Bespin 0.8 is live now. Could you give it another try if this is fixed now?
It appears to be working. Thanks a ton! :-)
Already fixed on tip.
