I'd like to get an idea how loaded the l10n dashboard VMs are, and it seems that we have munin for a bunch of machines that would give us that?

Can we add bm-l10n-db and bm-l10n-dashboard01 to that setup?

Maybe the l10n community server in AMS, too?

yum is broken on bm-l10n-db . I will try to troubleshoot.

Also I am going to try to get these up on ganglia, which is a better trending app than Munin, as I am currently working on migrating the rest of our servers as well.
bm-l10n... are ubuntu-based VMs, so yum is likely not going to give you lots.
Huh?

[root@bm-l10n-db ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga)
dashboard01 is Ubuntu, yes. But the issues with yum preventing us from doing anything on the box..are on db.
jabba set me straight in #bmo, too.
Looks like this is almost ready to go. I fixed the yum issue. I'm punting this over to bkero, since he is doing a general overhaul of our trending server (munin -> ganglia), so this will piggyback onto that.

I see that the ganglia processes are running, do you have an ETA on when we can see the results of that?
Summary: munin coverage for l10n dashboard vms bm-l10n-db and bm-l10n-dashboard01? → ganglia coverage for l10n dashboard vms bm-l10n-db and bm-l10n-dashboard01
Note, after the recent update of bm-1l0n-dashboard01 (bug 582552), ganglia didn't came back up.
These are available on http://im-ganglia01/ganglia
