firefox 3.5.9 became unresponsive and memory consumption was like 160 MB, when i opened a page which had to display like 23000 records from a mysql database.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. webpage should retrieve information from a database
2. firefox becomes unresponsive if there are large records
3.
Actual Results:  
it took much memory and dint respond so i had to end the prcess from task manager

Expected Results:  
may be a message informating users that so much chunks of data cant be handled.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 4 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Also, ensure you have the most up to date graphics drivers, operating system updates, and plugin versions (flash, java, etc). If you continue to see this issue with the newest Firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
