Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Security; Windows NT 5.1; Locale; rv:1.9.3a6pre) Gecko/20100627 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; en-US; rv:1.9.3a6pre) Gecko/20100627 Minefield/3.7a6pre

When a Window is in normal (non minimised, non maximised) mode and the user drags the mouse to the top of the screen there is a splash/ping at the cursor location and an animated ghost (glass) frame that expands to the entire screen so that letting go of the mouse button results in it being rendered full screen.

This does not happen with the nightly builds (2010-06-27-05-mozilla-central).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open firefox
2. Ensure that firefox is in a restored (non maximised, non minimised) state
3. Ensure that there are no other windows (for the best demonstration of the effect)
4. Drag the window to the top of the screen by the titlebar.
Actual Results:
Nothing

Expected Results:
There is a splash/ping at the cursor location and an animated ghost (glass) frame that expands to the entire screen so that letting go of the mouse button results in it being rendered full screen.

This breaks standard Windows 7 behaviour.
NOTE: This works when the menubar is used instead of the menu button.
