If the menu bar is not displayed (i.e., tabs are right below title bar along with the Firefox button), when hovering over the title bar tab tooltips appear.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure FF not to show the menu bar and to place tabs on top
2. Hover over the titlebar (somewhere where there is a tab right below)
3. Wait and see how a tooltip for the tab appears


Expected Results:  
No tooltip should appear in the title bar, or at least not one for a tab.

When pressing the minimize button on the title bar, if a tooltip appears it could happen that FF gets minimized while the tooltip remains on screen.

This was already fixed in bug 574635.

Based on the UA in comment 0 he is using XP. Bug 574635 was about the Win7/Vista taskbar, this is about the title bar.

Attaching a screenshot of the issue on XP using the latest nightly. In the screenshot the mouse cursor is not visible, but is in the blue title bar. Moving from cursor the tab to the title bar causes the tab tooltip to disappear then instantly reappear again as soon as the cursor is over the title bar.

Hrm, WFM on aero basic. The titlebar would be generating mouse events, and the caption hit testing would be disabled.

Tama, did you do a theme change right before this showed up?

Not really. I just start FF on a clean profile and I tell it not to show the menu bar.

With this config you get tooltips on the title bar.

I also see this bug with XP.  I was waiting to see what happens after drawing in the title bar was done for XP.

Whether the menu bar is visible or not you still have a tab's tooltips displayed right underneath your mouse pointer. 

Also when I minimize the tooltip goes away.  Am I missing something?  I'm testing with Aurora.
