Description

You have now a /4beta/ folder in your SVN repository (svn update).

Reminder, mozilla.com repo for your locale is:

The firstrun page is split in 3 tasks:
- translation of the page itself : 
/firefox/4beta/firstrun/index.html

- adding and translating 4 new strings in your main.lang file, these strings are for the video player on this page and will be used in other pages on the
site (see the webdashboard for your locale)

- translation of the subtitles for the video located in
/includes/l10n/sub-fx4-firstrun-beta.html

The subtitles are a simple html file, each subtitle is enclosed in a <div>.

Please commit directly to SVN and indicate your revision numbers here or alternatively, attach your files to this bug (upload them with the text/plain MIME type).

The staging site for the page is:

This page will be common for all betas so /4.0b1/,/4.0b2/... will actually point to /4beta/

/beta/ is ready for l10n, I haven't filed bugs yet but you can translate it

Just a suggestion, I think the paragraphs in the lower part of the page will look prettier if they're full-justified.

I have updated the subtitles translation in r70953.

BTW, the timing of the subtitles has what is called bleeding issues (that is the subtitles appearing just before or after the scene), which is bothersome. I can help fixing that if I am allowed (and if those subtitle files accept float numbers like 20.37).

@anas, I do not see bleeding issues and I suspect it may be slightly dependent on potential lag in decoding the video depending on your machine, can you update the timing on your copy so as that I see? Yes subtiles accept floating numbers.

Timing modified in r70959. You can watch after few minutes when the stage server takes the update. I've adjusted the timing to match the keyframes. Tell me if you can experience the difference now.

Updated in r70966. I have fixed some typos and added two blank lines so that the white rectangle is long enough to not overlap with the text under the video.
