The search's field from firefox (Yahoo!, Google, etc..) didn't work. I noticed that there was not space left on /home (/home/andrey/.mozilla...).

I got some free space and it worked again....

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fill up your Drive (/home partition)
2. Try to search for anything
3. It will not work. Clean some Mbs and it will work again.

Expected Results:
Tell there is not enough space on HD....
Version: unspecified → 3.5 Branch
It's expected that application stop working if there is no disk space left.
As long that it doesn't crash...
I agree with Matti....But let user wait for minutes until he knows it's lack of disk space its a windoze thing...I think the application could tell it.
Does it work if you clear preference Privacy / 'Remember search and form history'?
If so this is probably a variation of bug 553577.
