The new addons manager on FF4 always perform auto update silently. The user is never warn of the availability of an update. All is done silently in the background.

I like to be in control of my computer. I would be able to configure Firefox to be warn each time an addon update is about to be performed and be able to choose to perform it or not (like FF 3.6 do in fact).

In a user point of view, make it silent could be considered an improvement (no more annoying questions about performing some strange tasks). But in a security point of view this could be a problem. IMO The user should always be able to choose such a behavior (keep it silent or not), maybe by asking him the first time he install an addon.

Reproducible: Always
