Details

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100802 Thunderbird/3.1.2

When saving a attachment, the file copied in the folder has the current date / time, even if the mail message (shown with CRTL-U) contains the proper information like:

Content-Type: application/pdf; name="Furnace Speed 2010-08-06.pdf"
Content-Description: Furnace Speed 2010-08-06.pdf
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="Furnace Speed 2010-08-06.pdf";
	size=108316; creation-date="Sat, 07 Aug 2010 13:00:26 GMT";
	modification-date="Sat, 07 Aug 2010 13:00:26 GMT"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

When available, the original date / time should be assigned to the file. This information is very helpful when dealing with data for which the date is important to trace events.

Reproducible: Always
Version: unspecified → 3.1
