585459 - i cannot open firefox after clicking on the icon on desktop

I cannot open Firefox, when i go to my desktop and click on the icon i get the window symbol to spin for a couple of seconds but nothing,or try to open it through the start bar,i have tried to open it through my program files as well,i can open it if i reboot but if i close the Firefox it will not restart, i am running both internet explore and Google chrome.I have just installed the upgrade version of windows 7 32 bit over vista but everything else on my computer is running fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start windows
2.open Firefox,and close 
3.try to reopen Firefox.
Actual Results:  
Firefox will not open

Expected Results:  
double click on icon and it should open every time

In your case, you probably want to check if the profile is still correct (or create a new one) - see the links in the last section of that support page. Or maybe reinstall the application.
