Seems to be since most recent change, OGG videos (and perhaps others) are not appearing in the project marquee - see universal subs. Just has path to file instead, ie ( {'video_url': 'http://subtesting.com/video/Usubs-IntroVideo.theora.ogg'} ) Tried to re-upload their video and didn't solve it. BG

I have had about 45 minutes on this and haven't figured out what is wrong. Here are the areas that i have looked at .. https://www.drumbeat.org/admin/content/node-type/project/fields/field_p_video_marquee .. tried adding "custom url" to the list of "providers supported" & clearing the cache https://www.drumbeat.org/admin/content/node-type/project .. tried changing the "input format" settings setting on project page to "filtered html" & clearing the cache also checked to see if what i was looking at was hard coded in the HTML Paul-Bookers-Mac-mini:mozilla paul$ grep -r 'http://subtesting.com/video/Usubs-IntroVideo.theora.ogg' drumbeat-org/ Paul-Bookers-Mac-mini:mozilla paul$ As a short term solution can we upload the video to one of the supported providers and then to link to the video there. To help work on this tomorrow could we mirror what is on production on our stage server? On production editing administrative pages consistently leads to white pages and the site becoming unresponsive for a couple of minutes. -- Paul Booker Mozilla Contributor & [Open Web / Federated Social Web] advocate at Appcoast Email : paulbooker@ilovetheopenweb.org @paulbooker : http://mozilla.status.net/paulbooker

is there a page I can test this on? the Universal subs page has changed. I suspect that 'filtered html' may be the culprit - I am not sure it will allow video tags. Either we need to add video tags to the list of allowed tags for filtered html, or that field will have to be saved as full HTML - which I am not sure most users will have permission to do.

This applies to the old version of drumbeat.org, no longer in production. Closing.
