Not sure if it's actually significant, but interesting that the screenshot in the log from the timeout shows the clock at "12:01" - could there be a midnight-rollover bug in the test?

Chris Double found an infinite loop in the Ogg buffered implementation. It's fixed in the patch for bug 584615, so this may be fixed when that lands.

Since this was only failing on Linux, it's likely this was related to the problem Matthew Gregan fixed in bug 615134, so it's probably fixed now.

People have been filing co-occuring failures in test_buffered, test_bug465498, test_bug495145 and test_framebuffer here for the past 9 months, so I'm renaming this bug to reflect its current usage.
Summary: Intermittent test_buffered.html | Test timed out. followed by shutdown hang with nsBuiltinDecoder on the stack → Frequent timeouts in test_buffered.html, test_bug465498.html, test_bug495145.html, test_framebuffer.html, followed by a "4 test timeouts, giving up."
Fixed by Bug 675839.
