Writing collections name drops 2-4 characters after first letter typed.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to a add-on details page.
2. Click 'Add to collection'.
3. Click 'Start new collection'.
4. Click into the collection name field and type fast.

Actual result: 2-4 letters you typed after the first one are missing.

I can't reproduce but Stephen says he has a screencast as proof.

I think we're setting focus to the slug and then back to the name field?

Thanks for filing this.  In an effort to not drown in existing reports we're aggressively closing old enhancements and bugs to get the buglist to a reasonable level so we can scope and process bug sprints in an effective manner.

Patches for this bug are still welcome.
