I have a set e-mail text for sending out e-mails.  I made a text file that works with thunderbird.

The file lays out fine however I always have to change the font.  Before the latest change 3.1.3 (that I updated to today), when I had the text I could just change the format from preformat or mixed to body txt and the format/txt would be right.  Now I have to change from fixed width to a particular font & make different changes which slows me up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start an e-mail
2. attempt to change format from preformat or mixed to body txt,paragraph,   
   heading, anything
3. all txt comes together
Actual Results:  
did above

Expected Results:  
see line item 3

It should have just changed the font txt not the placement of the text.

That might be a duplicate of bug 592601 - can you try a  nightly (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-comm-1.9.2/) and let us know if it's fixed there ?

Daryl, feel free to reopen with more details if you still experience this problem on TB13. We'd also need a testcase: attach sample.txt to this bug, and screenshot of actual result.
