User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/6.0.472.55 Safari/534.3 Build Identifier: 4.0b5 when I launch a search in google for gmail, I can't follow the link. When I clic on the link mail.google.., simply nothing happens. When I try : right clic open in a new tab, the tab appears totaly blank. When I clic on the link gmail wikipedia it works. When I try to enter the URL directly nothng happens to. And not only for gmail. I don't have this kind of problem with macos 10.5 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.launch a search in google for gmail 2.try to clic the link 3.try to open in a new tab 3.try to enter directly a URL Actual Results: nothing happens Expected Results: open the gmail page.

apparently it works with http sites but not with https

This bug was reported using a pre-release version of Firefox 4. Now that Firefox 4.0.1 final has been released, can you please update and retest your bug? A fresh profile would be a good starting place to test, http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles. If you continue to see the issue, can you please update this bug with your results?
