It would be nice to be able to set the status bar off but make it appear when we hover link. It's the only time that i use the status bar, to see the URL of the link i'm hovering on. I think that many people of the community do that too. So the 3 options for the status bar should be on, off, Appear when hovering link only.

Thats not truly a bug but a great improvement i think !

In Firefox 4.0, links will not be shown in the statusbar anymore, they got moved to the locationbar.
