Details

Bug 594795 added some features to the Add-on Manager allowing users to more easily browse add-ons in Fennec, without needing to go to AMO. We still have some work to do to make the experience better:

* The "What are add-ons" block "Learn More" button goes to a URL that currently does not tell people about add-ons. It's the same browse add-ons URL used by the "Browser all add-ons" block at the bottom of the recommended add-ons list.
* The current UI for the recommended add-ons list dumps any recommended add-ons in the list first, then dumps popular add-ons in the list. We originally wanted to only show the popular add-ons if a) there were zero recommended add-ons or b) if the user pressed a "show more" button.
