Details

0. Install Fennec and configure syncing. Complete a first time sync.
1. Opened Fennec for the first time since my phone was powered on.
BUG: "Tabs from your other computers" was grayed out, no loading icon shown.

It turns out that it was either loading or syncing or something, because once I let it sit there for a minute, it turned from gray (disabled?) to black (active?).

I noticed that the third section of the homepage used a spinner to represent "loading", and thought that it might be useful to indicate the same for tabs.
After you setup Sync, and successfully complete a sync, Fennec will auto-connect to Sync after startup. We delay the auto-connection because Sync can slow down startup.

So what you are seeing is normal. The front-end does not know an auto-connection will happen, so it starts out "disabled", but will be signaled when the connection has been made. At that point, we enable the Sync UIs. The same thing happens in the awesomebar for "Desktop" section.

We don't use a loading spinner since we might not be "loading" Sync. It's off when we start and it might connect and become on afterward.
