(In reply to comment #0) > * Motorola Milestone2 (bhearsum, Toronto) (Rogers) Hold off on mine, please. I'm on Telus, and the Milestone would have to be ordered from Europe...I still haven't figured out if it would actually work.

(In reply to comment #0) > * Samsung Captivate (armen, Toronto) (Rogers) correction, that is "Samsung *Galaxy S* Captivate" (this phone should be available mid to end October). The next option would be "Sony Ericsson Xperia X10". Thanks!

Have recently learned that you can not install Fennec on the AT&T Captivate without rooting the phone first.

(In reply to comment #4) > Have recently learned that you can not install Fennec on the AT&T Captivate > without rooting the phone first. Have you a chance with the signed beta builds? Is this the new "Galaxy S"? I guess it is worth making it worth for it too as it is going to be Samsung's best Android based phone.

(In reply to comment #4) > Have recently learned that you can not install Fennec on the AT&T Captivate > without rooting the phone first. I was planning to root it anyway. Since the phones are not under contract isn't that ok to do? It still allows us to test Fennec, until not-rooting is an option.

Not relevant - AT&T has changed the device you can only install apps from the app store, not arbitrary apps.

I don't even think that's relevant - unlike Apple phones, you can root these just because.

Please change this to an HTC Desire, which is available directly from Telus.

Talked to John offline about how to go about getting these. Nothing for IT here.
