If you choose to forget about a website where you have downloaded a file from, the downloaded file will be deleted. Similarly,if you are in the process of downloading a file, the download will end and you are left with a zero-byte file.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download file
2. Forget about the site you are/have downloaded from.
3. Check for your downloaded file

Expected Results:
Only the files in the cache should be deleted. Firefox shouldn't be deleting files in other places other than its own directories.

Firefox has actually done this since this feature was introduced.

Summary: Forget About This Website deletes downloaded file → "Forget About This Site" should exclude (pending) Downloads
Just to clarify, if you have something downloaded already and you forget the site that it downloaded from, that file WILL be deleted. Not sure if this persists if you close the browser and then do it.

I just checked and this doesn't seem to happen under Linux though. I'm marking it Windows Vista, but I'm fairly sure it happens under XP and 2000 too.

Works for me in Windows 7. After downloading the file, when i click on forget about this site, the site is deleted and the downloaded file is not deleted.
