When I go through my messages by hitting the next button, the messages in the
preview pane disappear. They are not merely invisible, but unselectable at all.

I am able to repdroduce this (it happens every time I use the client) in one of
two ways:

Hitting next causes the preview pane to scroll. After I have hit next "enough"
times, as it scrolls, no new messages appear, so eventually the messages run
out. Each one is still being displayed in the message pane.

Though now that I notice, the headers of the messages also disappear when this
happens.

The other option is that hitting next causes the entire preview pane to
disappear, all at once.

I have a cron job that gets nightly builds every night, and this has been
happening for some time. I do have > 1000 messages in each of 10 folders.
Reporter is this still a problem in the latest nightlies?

Worksforme buildID 2000122320 win32. Please try with a new nightly and with a
fresh profile (not one created by netscape6/netscape4). Do you still see the
problem?
It is no longer a problem for me. I would call it fixed.
Marking worksforme as it's not any longer verified by the reporter.
