Details

We want to know the volume of data (count, bytes) that are retained by the final stack scan.  It should not be hard to get that - the GC already has exact, up-to-the minute data on volumes scanned.

The more interesting problem is the test cases we want to use.  Presumably 10-20 SWFs with popular AS3-based content would do the trick, and maybe ESC and abcdump just for grins.
