I find the "Watching" indicator unclear. At first, I didn't know what it was. Then I thought it was a legend explaining what the eyeball symbol means. Perhaps the eyeball itself should change state somehow. For that matter, I'm not a big fan of inscrutable little icons at all. How is a yellow "warning" triangle supposed to signify "sticky"? </rant> Also also, they're way too tiny to be that close together, inviting misclicks. really </rant>
This is a bug relating to the site pre-redesign. The watch button in the contributor forums now includes words that make things clearer. The sticky icon is still inscrutable, but it isn't yellow anymore, and has a tool tip.

I think that this bug has been invalidated by the redesign.
